The Smokies fell in their home opener to the Jackson Generals 5-1 at Smokies Park on Monday night. The series continues on Wednesday morning with a 11:30 a.m. first pitch. Right-hander Trey McNutt (0-0, 0.00) will start for the Smokies against Jackson’s right-hander James Paxton (1-0, 0.00).
