Tennessee Smokies manager Buddy Bailey gives an exclusive update on the condition of outfielder Jae-Hoon Ha who was injured on Thursday night in Jacksonville.
Ha collided with a side wall down the right field line chasing a fly ball that went foul on Thursday, and was carried off the field and taken to a Jacksonville hospital by ambulance.
“He came out of it really really good,” Bailey said. “He does have a concussion but no dental problems. Obviously his mouth and lower face are sore. He’s got a little bit of a headache today but as each hour passes, it sounds like by talking to him that it’s getting better.”
Ha is currently still in Jacksonville and was visiting with teammates in the clubhouse before batting practice.
