The Tennessee Smokies look to put an end to their five-game losing streak on Thursday, facing the Huntsville Stars at Smokies Park.
Last night Tennessee fell 7-2 to the Stars, despite shortstop Junior Lake recording his 29th multi-hit game of the season, going 2-4 with a double and an RBI.
Tonight Tennessee will send right-hander Lendy Castillo to the mound. This will be Castillo’s second start as part of a major league rehab assignment from the Cubs. Starting for the Stars is right-hander Ariel Pena, who has no record and a 4.50 ERA with Huntsville this season.
