After beginning the final homestand of the year with a series victory over the Chattanooga Lookouts, the Tennessee Smokies will welcome in the Mobile BayBears for the final series of the season at Smokies Park.
The Smokies enter today six games back of the Lookouts for first place in the second half North Division standings with only ten games left in the season.
This is the only time that Tennessee and Mobile will meet at Smokies Park this season, with the BayBears taking four out of five games in the first meeting back in May at Hank Aaron Stadium.
Tonight Tennessee sends right-hander Dallas Beeler to the mound. Beeler is 4-7 this season with a 4.14 ERA in 25 starts. Starting for the BayBears is right-hander Brett Lorin, who is 3-9 with a 6.00 ERA.
