Pierce Johnson on Smokies Gameday Live

Tennessee Smokies starter Pierce Johnson visited the Smokies Gameday Live pre-game show on August 12 for an interview with host Greg Young.

Johnson at the time of the interview had most recently pitched in Mobile and took a no-hitter into the sixth inning of a seven inning game on August 10. He did the same, no hitting an opponent into the sixth, in his last start at Smokies Park on August 3 against Pensacola.

Through eight starts in the second half, Johnson is 4-3 with a 1.38 ERA and a .160 average against.

Smokies Gameday Live is the daily pre-game show that airs locally on the video board before every Smokies game at Smokies Stadium.
