Tennessee plated seven runs in the bottom of the eighth, taking the lead on Lars Anderson’s bases-loaded walk, while outfielders Jae-Hoon Ha and Albert Almora each drove in two runs with a double and triple, respectively, to propel the Smokies to a 12-5 victory over the Huntsville Stars on Saturday evening at Smokies Stadium.

Tennessee right fielder Jorge Soler blasted two homers and drove in a career-high five runs as part of a three-hit game, while second baseman Stephen Bruno collected three hits and drove in three RBI as part of the Smokies’ 14-8 slugfest victory over the Jacksonville Suns on Sunday afternoon at Smokies Stadium.

Matt Loosen struck out five and allowed just one run over six innings, Dustin Geiger hit a game-tying double in the sixth and Anthony Giansanti launched a solo home run in the ninth as the Smokies won their third straight game 4-2 in Jackson against the Generals on Wednesday afternoon.
