MISSISSIPPI 7, JACKSON 5 (11): The Braves staged a remarkable comeback in Jackson last night to avoid dropping the first three games of their series. Dan Brewer drew a bases-loaded walk to tie the game in the top of the 9th and Mycal Jones put Mississippi in front in the 11th with an RBI double. Christian Bethencourt added some insurance with a sacrifice fly to help secure the win for the Braves.

CHATTANOOGA 6, BIRMINGHAM 5: Chattanooga also notched their first win of their series last night thanks to scoring all six runs in the final three innings. Trailing 5-4 in the 9th, Jan Vazquez and Jeremy Moore homered off reliever Dan Remenowsky to give Chattanooga their first lead of the game. Moore was 2-for-4 at the plate in the game, the only Lookout with multiple hits.

HUNTSVILLE 10, PENSACOLA 5: The Stars scored four runs in two different innings en route to their third straight win over the Blue Wahoos. Jason Rogers had a monster game going 4-for-5 with three home runs and six RBIs, all season-highs. The home runs for Rogers were his first since way back on May 27.

MONTGOMERY 4, MOBILE 3: For the second time already in this series, the Biscuits recorded a one-run victory. Montgomery got on the board early with RBI hits by Mikie Mahtook and Todd Glaesmann in the first inning and withstood a late rally by the BayBears to take the middle game of their series. Juan Sandoval went the final 1.2 innings for his 12th save of the season.
