MONTGOMERY 4, CHATTANOOGA 3: Mike Colla allowed one run over seven innings as the Biscuits defeated the reeling Lookouts by a run. Chattanooga mounted a rally with two runs in the 9th, but Jan Vazquez struck out with the tying run on second base to end the game.

PENSACOLA 4, BIRMINGHAM 3: Devin Lohman broke a 3-3 tie with an RBI groundrule double in the top of the 6th to halt Birmingham from taking over first place in the North Division. The win gets the Blue Wahoos back to .500 in the second half at 21-21.

HUNTSVILLE 3, MISSISSIPPI 2: The Stars tied the game with a run in the 8th on a bases loaded walk and Joey Paciorek drew a walk-off walk in the 9th inning to give Huntsville the win. Braves’ reliever Thomas Keeling allowed both the game-tying and game-winning bases-loaded walks.

JACKSON 3, MOBILE 1: The Generals scored all three of their runs in the 6th inning off Mark Serrano to earn the victory in Mobile. After Julio Morban scored on a throwing error by Raywily Gomez, John Hicks hit an RBI single for the lead and Jabari Blash followed with an RBI double to complete the three-run 6th inning.
