Javier Baez blasted two home runs and drove in five total runs in a 10-8 Smokies victory over Birmingham last evening. The round-trippers were his 15th and 16th of the season with the Chicago Cubs’ Double-A team. Overall this season, the shortstop has 33 home runs between Daytona and Tennessee, the second-most among all minor league players.
