PENSACOLA 6, BIRMINGHAM 2: The Blue Wahoos scored twice in three different innings as they took the series opener over the Barons. Ryan LaMarre went 2-for-4 with two RBIs at the top of the lineup while Ray Chang went 3-for-4 with 2 RBIs at the bottom of the lineup.

CHATTANOOGA 3, JACKSON 2 (10): Brian Cavazos-Galvez broke a 2-2 tie with a sacrifice fly to give the Lookouts their fifth straight win. The loss was Jackson’s sixth straight as they remain in third place in the North Division. Jabari Blash went 2-for-2 with his 6th home run in a losing effort.
