Former Tennessee Smokies’ pitcher Kyle Hendricks and Smokies’ shortstop Javier Baez were honored at Wrigley Field Saturday afternoon for being named Cubs’ Minor League Pitcher of the Year and Cubs’ Minor League Player of the Year, respectively. Featured on WGN’s ‘The Leadoff Man’, this video recaps the two career seasons for each player.
