Wes Darvill recently took some time to sit down with the Smokies Radio Network and discuss his development in the Arizona Fall League. The 22 year-old third baseman spent last season with the Kansas City T-Bones and the Daytona Cubs and batted .267 over 94 games with 16 doubles, seven triples, three homeruns and 40 RBIs. As member of the Mesa Solar Sox taxi squad, Darvill is only active to play on Wednesdays and Saturdays, but said he’s embracing the taxi role and that twice a week is “enough to get out there and show people what you can do.”
