Not every day does a minor league baseball player get a chance to face off against a two-time Cy Young award winner, but the Smokies were able to on April 30th against the Chattanooga Lookouts when Los Angeles Dodgers southpaw had a rehab assignment with the Lookouts. Kershaw threw five innings giving up two earned runs on six hits and struck out nine batters. Smokies came out victorious 4-3.
