The Smokies continue their hot streak as they have clinched their series against the Jackson Generals with a 4-0 victory and seven of their last nine games. They look to extend the win streak as game four is slated for 8:05 p.m. ET.

Tennessee’s hot bats continued as Stephen Bruno, Christian Villanueva and Rubi Silva paced the offense with two hits apiece while Corey Black and the bullpen shutout the Generals offense. Bruno drove in two runs as Charlie Cutler chipped in with an RBI double.

Tennessee is expected to start RHP Eduardo Figueroa (0-0, 4.73). Figueroa will be making his first appearance against Jackson on the season. Figueroa was outstanding in his last outing on June 22 against Chattanooga, allowing three hits in five scoreless innings.

Jackson will look to counter with LHP Tyler Pike (0-0, 0.00) who recently made his Southern League debut on June 22 in a start against Mississippi where he pitched five scoreless innings only allowing two hits.

Fans can listen to the broadcast on the Smokies Baseball Network, with the “Voice of the Smokies” Mick Gillispie. Gillispie is assisted by Greg Young, Keith Brake, Meagan Wood, Sean Sullivan, Boomer Dangel, Andrew Clare and James Rowe. The Pilot/Oscar Meyer Pre-game Show will begin at 7:50 p.m. ET.
