MOBILE, Ala. – Thursday evening’s scheduled contest between the Tennessee Smokies and Mobile BayBears at Hank Aaron Stadium in Mobile, Alabama has been postponed due to rain and resulting field conditions.
The game will be made up as part of a doubleheader Friday night, with game one slated for a 5:05 p.m. ET first pitch, while game two is scheduled to start approximately 30 minutes after the conclusion of the first contest. Both contests are slated to last seven innings.

Mobile is anticipated to send RHP Aaron Blair (2-1, 3.44) to the bump for the first matchup of the night, while RHP A.J. Schugel (4-2, 3.50) is slated to face off against Edwards in game two.
After completing their five-game series road with the BayBears on Sunday, Tennessee returns home to begin a five-game homestand with the Huntsville Stars, the Double-A affiliate of the Milwaukee Brewers, on Tuesday, August 12. First pitch for the series opener is scheduled for 7:15 p.m. ET.
