The Smokies announced game times for the 2014 campaign on Wednesday, including first pitch times for all 70 home contests at Smokies Park.
All weekday home games are scheduled for 7:15 p.m. starts, with the exception for April 10, 15 and 16 (11:30 a.m.) and May 6 (noon). All Saturday home contests are slated for 6:15 p.m. first pitch times, while all but two Sunday home tilts (May 25, 6:15 p.m. and June 29, 7:15 p.m.) will start at 2:00 p.m.
Tennessee will begin their 2014 campaign on the road in Pensacola, Florida to face the Pensacola Blue Wahoos, the Double-A affiliate of the Cincinnati Reds, while the Smokies’ home opener against the Chattanooga Lookouts will be held on Wednesday, April 9, with first pitch slated for 7:15 p.m. in Kodak to begin a ten-game homestand.
The last regular season game at Smokies Park will take place on August 26 at 7:15 p.m. against the Jacksonville Suns, the Double-a affiliate of the Miami Marlins. Tennessee will cap their regular season slate in Chattanooga, Tennessee, versus the Chattanooga Lookouts, the Double-A affiliate of the Los Angeles Dodgers, on September 1 at 2:15 p.m.
