The Smokies did get on the scoreboard last night against the Suns, but still fell 7-6 at the Baseball Grounds of Jacksonville. The loss gave the Suns the series in the final four-game set before the All-Star Break, which begins tomorrow.

Chris Carpenter will take the mound for the Smokies tonight. Carpenter is 6-4 with a 3.16 ERA. He will be opposed by Jacksonville’s Jeff Allison, who is 5-4 with a 3.49 ERA.
