‘The Process’ is the story of the 2013 Tennessee Smokies, the Chicago Cubs Double-A affiliate. In episode two, the Smokies welcomed Cubs starter Matt Garza and Cubs reliever Kyuji Fujikawa to East Tennessee on rehab assignments. For current Tennessee players, it was an opportunity to learn more about becoming a big leaguer.

After spending the final couple months of 2012 in Chicago, Smokies pitcher Alberto Cabrera is working as a starter to earn his spot back in the show. The Smokies starting pitcher demonstrates how he throws his change up and slider, two of his best pitches. This piece was part of the Chicago Cubs national television broadcast on May 25.
