HUNTSVILLE 7, CHATTANOOGA 3: The Stars continued the Lookouts misery thanks in large part to a four-run 5th inning. Trailing 2-1, Huntsville scored four times in the 5th highlighted by a two-run double by Eric Marzec. Chattanooga has now lost 11 games in a row.

MISSISSIPPI 6, JACKSON 5 (10): Robby Hefflinger delivered a walk-off, RBI single in the 10th inning to end a wild game in Pearl, MS. Jackson scored once in the 8th and once in the 9th to tie the game and send it to extras before Mississippi took the series opener in extras.

PENSACOLA 2, JACKSONVILLE 0: Jon Moscot scatted four hits over seven shutout innings as the Blue Wahoos took the series opener over the Suns. Pensacola scored both of their runs in the third inning on an RBI single by Devin Lohman and a double play by Yorman Rodriguez that scored Lohman.
