MISSISSIPPI 11, JACKSON 2: After going down 2-0, the Braves scored 11 unanswered runs including a seven-run 7th inning. Christian Marrero led the charge going 2-for-3 with a home run and five RBIs. Mycal Jones led Mississippi with three hits at the top of the lineup.

MOBILE 3, BIRMINGHAM 2: Archie Bradley struck out ten batters in seven innings as Mobile took their second straight over Birmingham. After Mike Blanke homered in the 2nd inning, Mobile responded in the 5th inning when Keon Broxton gave the BayBears the lead with a two-run single.

CHATTANOOGA 3, HUNTSVILLE 0 (suspended, 1): Before the rain arrived, the Lookouts put up three runs in the bottom of the 1st inning. Sean Burroughs hit an RBI single and two batters later Angelo Songco hit a two-run double.
