Former Tennessee Smokies Manager Brian Harper recently sat down with the Smokies Radio Network to discuss the progression of the Cubs players at the Arizona Fall League. Currently Harper serves as the hitting coach for the Mesa Solar Sox and has been working with Cubs prospects Almora, Soler, and Bryant while they’ve been in Arizona. Harper said they will be quick getting to the big leagues, but it’s more than getting at-bats; they “have to learn to be professionals.”
