Bob Feller

On July 19, 1936, one of the greatest pitchers of all time made his Major League debut; then, exactly 28 years later, a beloved member of the Boston Red Sox rotation made his own debut in The Show.

Mick Gillispie told the story of Bob Feller’s Major League debut during the sixth inning of Tennessee’s first game with Huntsville on Saturday, then told the story of Luis Tiant’s debut and career during the sixth inning of game two.
